Am 16. November versammelte Votum Klima rund hundert B\u00fcrgerinnen und B\u00fcrger, K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstler sowie mehrere politische Vertreterinnen und Vertreter auf der Place Clairefontaine zu \u201eKaffi a Klima\u201d, einer offenen B\u00fchne, die sich der Klimagerechtigkeit widmete. Von 15:30 bis 17:00 Uhr sah das Publikum k\u00fcnstlerische, poetische und engagierte Darbietungen und hatte gleichzeitig die M\u00f6glichkeit, sich \u00fcber aktuelle Klimafragen auszutauschen. Damit solidarisierte man sich mit den B\u00fcrgerbewegungen, die im Rahmen der COP30 in Bel\u00e9m stattfinden.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201eWir wollten einen Raum schaffen, in dem jeder seine Vision von Klimagerechtigkeit zum Ausdruck bringen kann<\/em>\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Altyna\u00ef Bidaubayle, Sprecherin von Votum Klima. \u201eDiese offene B\u00fchne erm\u00f6glichte es Menschen mit unterschiedlichem Hintergrund, ihre Emotionen, Hoffnungen und Forderungen durch Musik, Poesie, Erfahrungsberichte oder auch durch Schweigen zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Auf diese Weise k\u00f6nnen die Stimmen der luxemburgischen Zivilgesellschaft gerade jetzt Geh\u00f6r finden, wo entscheidende Verhandlungen f\u00fcr unsere gemeinsame Zukunft stattfinden.<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n

Zu den anwesenden K\u00fcnstlerinnen und K\u00fcnstlern sowie Kollektiven geh\u00f6rten insbesondere Lara Well (Poesie), Magdeline Owusu (Zeugnis), der Cercle de Silence pour la justice climatique und die Chorale militante. Mehrere Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer ergriffen spontan das Wort und machten die Veranstaltung so zu einem Ort der Kreativit\u00e4t und des b\u00fcrgerlichen Ausdrucks.<\/p>\n

Die Veranstaltung fand im Rahmen der COP30 statt, die vom 10. bis 21. November in Bel\u00e9m im Herzen des brasilianischen Amazonasgebiets stattfindet. Weltweit mobilisiert sich die Zivilgesellschaft, um konkrete und ehrgeizige Ergebnisse zu fordern, da ihr bewusst ist, dass die jetzt getroffenen Entscheidungen die Klimapolitik der kommenden Jahrzehnte bestimmen werden.<\/p>\n

Votum Klima fordert die Verhandlungsf\u00fchrer:innen auf, sich zu drei Priorit\u00e4ten zu verpflichten: 1. Beibehaltung des Ziels, die Erderw\u00e4rmung auf 1,5 \u00b0C zu begrenzen, 2. Verabschiedung konkreter Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Beendigung der Entwaldung und 3. Gew\u00e4hrleistung einer gerechten Klimafinanzierung, die es den L\u00e4ndern des globalen S\u00fcdens erm\u00f6glicht, sich an die Auswirkungen der Klimakrise anzupassen. Diese Forderungen wurden Anfang November auf einer von der Koalition organisierten Pressekonferenz vorgestellt.<\/p>\n

\u201eMit Beginn der zweiten Verhandlungswoche erwarten wir greifbare Ergebnisse<\/em>\u201c, betont Raymond Klein, Vertreter von Votum Klima, der in Bel\u00e9m anwesend ist. \u201eDie Solidarit\u00e4t zwischen den V\u00f6lkern ist hier beeindruckend, sei es bei den Treffen des Volksgipfels oder in der Blue Zone. Der Erfolg des gestrigen Gro\u00dfmarsches, an dem Zehntausende Menschen teilnahmen, hat die Erwartungen noch verst\u00e4rkt. Es ist nun dringend notwendig, einen verbindlichen internationalen Rahmen f\u00fcr den Ausstieg aus fossilen Energien zu schaffen. Die L\u00e4nder des Globalen Nordens m\u00fcssen ihrer historischen Verantwortung gerecht werden, indem sie eine angemessene Klimafinanzierung gew\u00e4hrleisten: 300 Milliarden Dollar pro Jahr kurzfristig und 1,3 Billionen oder sogar mehr dar\u00fcber hinaus. Andernfalls verurteilen wir die am st\u00e4rksten gef\u00e4hrdeten Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen dazu, die Folgen einer Krise zu tragen, die sie nicht verursacht haben.<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n

Votum Klima<\/a> ist eine Plattform, die 15 luxemburgische gemeinn\u00fctzige Vereine vereint, die sich f\u00fcr mehr kollektives und politisches Handeln gegen die Klimakrise einsetzen.<\/p>\n
