{"id":7037,"date":"2025-06-18T14:15:33","date_gmt":"2025-06-18T12:15:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.naturemweltasbl.lu\/?p=7037"},"modified":"2025-06-25T08:57:18","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T06:57:18","slug":"naturemwelt-greenpeace-eudr-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.naturemweltasbl.lu\/de\/naturemwelt-greenpeace-eudr-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Luxemburg verkennt die Dringlichkeit der Entwaldung"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mit gro\u00dfer Besorgnis nehmen <em>Greenpeace Luxemburg<\/em> und <em>natur&amp;\u00ebmwelt<\/em> die j\u00fcngsten Aussagen des luxemburgischen Umweltministers zur EU-Entwaldungsverordnung (EUDR) zur Kenntnis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In einem Interview am 18. Juni 2025 mit radio 100,7 st\u00e4rkte der Umweltminister der Landwirtschaftsministerin den R\u00fccken und sprach sich erneut f\u00fcr <strong>Ausnahmeregelungen und eine Verw\u00e4sserung der Verordnung aus<\/strong> \u2013 eine Haltung, die den Zielen der EU zur Bek\u00e4mpfung globaler Entwaldung und der Biodiversit\u00e4tskrise entgegenl\u00e4uft.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trotz der Beteuerung, dass der Schutz der W\u00e4lder \u201eeine klare Ambition\u201c der Regierung sei, sprechen die Forderungen nach vereinfachten oder abgeschw\u00e4chten Regelungen eine andere Sprache. <strong>Die Verb\u00e4nde weisen darauf hin, dass die Einf\u00fchrung einer Null-Risiko- bzw. einer &#8222;risikofreien&#8220; Kategorie die Grundlagen der EUDR infrage stellen w\u00fcrde.<\/strong> Die wiederholt vorgebrachte Behauptung, man wolle Unternehmen und Landwirt:innen vor zus\u00e4tzlichen administrativen Belastungen sch\u00fctzen, l\u00e4sst aus Sicht der Umweltorganisationen die eigentliche Problematik au\u00dfer Acht: Tropenw\u00e4lder in S\u00fcdamerika, Afrika und S\u00fcdostasien werden weiterhin in alarmierendem Tempo zerst\u00f6rt \u2013 auch f\u00fcr den europ\u00e4ischen Markt. <strong>Die EUDR ist ein essenzielles Instrument, um genau diese zerst\u00f6rerischen Lieferketten transparent zu machen und wirksam zu regulieren.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.praxis-agrar.de\/betrieb\/recht\/eudr-auswirkungen-auf-landwirtschaft\">Ein Blick nach Deutschland zeigt<\/a>, dass eine <strong>pragmatische und b\u00fcrokratisch unkomplizierte Umsetzung der Verordnung m\u00f6glich ist<\/strong>, insbesondere f\u00fcr kleinere landwirtschaftliche Betriebe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prim\u00e4rerzeuger:innen wie Rinderhalter:innen, Forstwirt:innen oder Soja-Produzent:innen m\u00fcssen lediglich einmal j\u00e4hrlich eine Sorgfaltserkl\u00e4rung im Informationssystem der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission abgeben. Die daf\u00fcr notwendigen Informationen, wie beispielsweise Pachtvertr\u00e4ge, Fl\u00e4chennachweise oder Grundbuchausz\u00fcge, liegen in den meisten F\u00e4llen bereits im Betrieb vor. Lediglich die Erg\u00e4nzung um Geolokalisierungsdaten der bewirtschafteten Fl\u00e4chen ist eine neue Anforderung, die jedoch mit geringem Aufwand erf\u00fcllbar ist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Greenpeace Luxemburg<\/em> und <em>natur&amp;\u00ebmwelt<\/em> weisen zudem auf einen grundlegenden Widerspruch in der aktuellen politischen Debatte hin: Im Rahmen des <strong>European Green Deal<\/strong> verpflichtet sich die EU, bis 2030 mindestens drei Milliarden zus\u00e4tzliche B\u00e4ume in Europa zu pflanzen. <strong>Dieses Ziel kann jedoch nicht glaubw\u00fcrdig verfolgt werden, wenn gleichzeitig Ma\u00dfnahmen unterst\u00fctzt werden, die eine Abschw\u00e4chung der EU-Entwaldungsverordnung zur Folge h\u00e4tten<\/strong> \u2013 und damit das Risiko erh\u00f6hen, dass f\u00fcr den Konsum in Europa weiterhin gro\u00dffl\u00e4chig Regenw\u00e4lder in anderen Teilen der Welt abgeholzt werden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besonders beunruhigend ist, dass Luxemburg laut Informationen aus vertrauensw\u00fcrdigen Quellen derzeit auf EU-Ebene mit einer <strong>Unterschriftenaktion, die sich offenbar an s\u00e4mtliche europ\u00e4ischen Umwelt-, Landwirtschafts- und Handelsministerien richte<\/strong>, weitere sogenannte \u201eVereinfachungen\u201c der EUDR fordert.\u00a0Auch wenn bislang keine offizielle Best\u00e4tigung vorliegt, sehen <em>Greenpeace Luxemburg<\/em> und <em>natur&amp;\u00ebmwelt<\/em> in dieser Entwicklung ein alarmierendes Signal:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201e<em>Wenn das Umweltministerium diese Initiative ins Leben gerufen haben sollte, w\u00fcrde das nicht nur die Umsetzung der EUDR gef\u00e4hrden, sondern auch die Glaubw\u00fcrdigkeit der EU als verl\u00e4sslicher Handelspartner untergraben \u2013 insbesondere gegen\u00fcber Produzentenl\u00e4ndern, die sich bereits intensiv auf die Einhaltung der neuen Regeln vorbereiten<\/em>\u201c, so die beiden Umweltorganisationen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au\u00dferdem m\u00f6chten die beiden Organisationen nochmals daran erinnern, dass sie die Kampagne der Koalition<a href=\"https:\/\/together4forests.eu\/\">#Together4Forest<\/a> unterst\u00fctzen, einem B\u00fcndnis mehrerer europ\u00e4ischer Umweltorganisationen mit dem Ziel, die Umsetzung der EUDR zu unterst\u00fctzen. Dieses Gesetz k\u00f6nnte bis 2035 <a href=\"https:\/\/globalwitness.org\/en\/campaigns\/forests\/saving-a-forest-the-size-of-austria-the-first-ten-years-of-the-eudr\/\">weltweit mehr als 8 Millionen Hektar Wald<\/a> \u2013 das entspricht etwa der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe \u00d6sterreichs \u2013 vor der Abholzung f\u00fcr die Produktion von Waren sch\u00fctzen, die in Europa verkauft werden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Greenpeace Luxemburg<\/em> und <em>natur&amp;\u00ebmwelt<\/em> appellieren an die politische Verantwortung der Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger:innen auf nationaler und europ\u00e4ischer Ebene. Angesichts der globalen Waldverluste, des Klimawandels und des dramatischen R\u00fcckgangs der Artenvielfalt sei jetzt nicht die Zeit f\u00fcr politische R\u00fcckzieher, sondern f\u00fcr
